Her Final Bow

She walked along the road side, while the rain was pouring. Everyone was covered except her. She had a smile, a happy smile. Like she never smiled before. In the distance, she saw him. She waited for so long to surprise him. He didn’t know she would be around. It was supposed to be a surprise. She stops, in the middle of the rain, while everyone takes cover. She looks at him careful with only the moonlight to light him up all the hidden features of his face. She walks slowly, taking her time to greet him. Imagining by just throwing herself at him, or how his reaction will be. She smiled more hurting her cheeks. But she didn’t care; she was so happy nothing mattered around her. Her heart was just beating uncontrollably. Everything that they said together, is this it? As she got close to him, she suddenly sees a woman hugging him and smiling and falling at him. Throwing herself at him and he smiled back. They kissed. She stopped again, this time there was no smile on her face. She looked at them seeing with her bear eyes they where happy. Smiling laughing giggling cuddling on each other. She wanted to collapse but she stayed strong. She started to write something and hold it in her hands. She walked up to him until he could see her, hoping he would recognize her. As he looked up at her, he was shocked and stoned. He had his mouth opened but no words came out. She smiled at him back, and gave her final bow at him and walked passed him. Trying not to look back how he was reacting, she tried to hold her tears. No one could see her tears under the rain.
‘Who was that?’ She heard the woman said to him. There was no response from him. She just walked, blinded with the mind and thoughts.
He called her, but she didn’t turn back, she kept walking. He called her name again but she refused to turn around and kept walking. He called even louder her name only she stopped and finally heard and realized he was talking to her. She turned around to face him, he was telling her something but she couldn’t get it registered in her head. She was blurred by her own tears. Only she looked down where she was standing and realized she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Until a bus, unable to stop because of the slippery road from the rain, manages to crash into her, leaving nothing behind except a letter that was in her hand.
He was there standing where she last stood. He picked up the letter and it was addressed to him. He opened, with a shaken hand. Unable to bear of what was going to be inside.

♥ If a kiss was a raindrop, I’d send you showers. If a hug was a second, I’d send you hours. If a smile was water, I’d send you the sea. If love was a person I’d send u me ♥
I made my promise too come to you…
